Busa extra virgin olive oil is produced by cold mechanical pressing. Busa is a prized variety indigenous to Istria. Busa di Baioca is a 100% monovarietal extra virgin olive oil of great value, obtained from the autochthonous variety of olives from the Istrian region.
Olive harvesting method
We harvest the Busa olives by hand so as not to stress the fruit. With reduced water consumption, the antioxidants (phenols) remain in the olive oil, preserving its full flavor.
The taste of Busa extra virgin olive oil
The light green colour, the sweet taste of fruit trees with notes of freshly cut grass and green apple are the characteristics that give our Busa olive oil the scent and taste of freshness.
