The future is in ecology
Environmental protection is a great value and pride of our mill. New technological equipment allows for an increase in total processing capacity, a faster process, an increase in the quantity and quality of olive oil, and a reduction in production costs. The new technology line consumes about 26% less water in the production process and has a 100% cost saving on biofuels because the olive stones separated from the pulp are used as biofuel for heating the boiler water in the production process and for central heating of the oil mill.
Organic plantations and an ecological oil mill
We constantly study, develop and improve our production methods in order to obtain top-quality extra virgin olive oils. We attach great importance to ecology and try not to leave harmful imprints on nature. Our mill is certified organic, as are the plantations, so our doors are open to all olive growers with an organic plantation certificate. Organic olive growing, unlike industrial production, is sustainable and has no impact on the natural balance and does not consume more than it produces. In addition, organic products usually contain less water and more dry matter, so they deteriorate more slowly during storage.
Ecological measures
In the organic olive oil production process, wastewater from washing and cleaning the olives is discharged directly into the public sewage system and olive pomace is transported as a by-product to reservoirs for energy production and sources. The transformation of the olives into extra-virgin olive oil takes place in an indoor mill, which, by implementing technological processes, minimises any negative effects on the environment. In addition, we only use biodegradable and environmentally friendly detergents to clean the mill floors and equipment.
